How it started ...
The clock ticked over to January 1st 2020 and I had an epiphany—I’m going to write a novel. Punching the air (Breakfast Club style), I declared to no one in particular, 'This is my year!'
Then the virus (you know which one) descended upon the world. Dun dun duuun. During remote learning, I became my son’s meanest teacher. His words, not mine.
Did I stop writing? Occasionally for snacks, but I didn’t give up.
Rom-coms are my jam and my goal is to become the Queen of Poolside Reads. Crap, did I just admit that out loud?

I'm a multi-award-winning emerging fiction author with numerous accolades in writing competitions across Australia, New Zealand and the U.S.
I write stories filled with heart, humour and hijinks. My signature style includes a strong commercial voice, quirky cast and putting the ‘com’ in rom-com.
I first caught the writing bug via blogging and later transitioned into copywriting. I'm now a sought-after virtual assistant for published and aspiring authors.

Based in rural Victoria, I spend my time with my husband, two rambunctious boys and a cheeky pug, planning and building our off-grid country home. The outdoors is my happy place.
